Okay, so I’ve never actually tasted real egg nog. But I feel like this is a pretty good vegan representation of it. And my dad agrees, so it has to be true, right?
I’ve been talking about making vegan egg nog for a few weeks now and people always ask me why or how I’m going to do it. “No dairy or eggs, impossible!” they would say. Ah, I’m here to tell you that it is possible and it’s tasty too.
Just trying to get festive here, that’s all!
3 frozen bananas
1 cup almond or coconut milk
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
2 tablespoons rum (optional)
Throw everything in your blender and blend until nice and smooth. Pour into your favorite glass, serve, sit by the Christmas tree, enjoy!!
